The Oval Qualifier meet will begin Thursday, Feb. 20 at BYU's Smith Fieldhouse with the throwing events and the high jump. The meet will continue Friday at the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns, Utah, with the running events and the rest of the field events. Thursday's events will start at 3 p.m. Friday's field events will start at 2:30 p.m. and the running events will start at 4 p.m.

Teams competing at the meet will include BYU, the University of Utah, Weber State, UVSC and the University of Idaho, with several unattached athletes also competing.

For BYU, Aron Szumda will return to competition after a week off, and Nikki Hughes will continue to let her stress injury heal.
