WOODLAND, Calif. – Forty-one BYU track and field athletes have earned All-Academic honors from the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. The MPSF All-Academic honors list was announced by executive director Al Beaird.

The 24 honorees for the BYU women are one behind Washington State for the second most in the MPSF. On the men’s side, BYU led the way with 17 All-Academic selections. Last season, 39 Cougar track athletes earned recognition, 21 from the women’s team and 18 from the men's squad.

To be nominated for MPSF All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically, completed one full academic year at BYU prior to the season and competed in at least 50 percent of BYU’s track and field competitions throughout the 2020 indoor season.

The full release of the MSPF All-Academic individual honorees can be found on mpsports.org.
