Cougar men receive MPSF academic honors

WOODLAND, Calif. — BYU men's track had 22 athletes receive the distinction of MPSF All-Academic Scholar Athlete for the 2014 indoor track and field season, as announced by the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Friday. 

Honorees were awarded based on the following criteria:

  1. 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
  2. Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
  3. Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received. 
  4. Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport.
