Four BYU athletes earn All-America honors
PROVO, Utah -- Four members of the BYU men's track and field team earned second-team All-America honors for the 2013 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field season.
Victor Weirich, Jared Ward, Tylor Thatcher and Ryan Waite qualified for the honor by finishing between ninth and 16th place in their respective events.
Weirich took 13th in the men's pole vault with a height of 17-08.50. Ward and Thatcher both competed in the men's 5,000-meter run, taking ninth (13:54.04) and 15th (14:12.55), respectively. Waite took 13th overall in the men's 800-meter run in 1:49.77.
