"I thought Florida State played really, really well tonight. Watching them on film it’s hard to get a real feel for how skilled of a team they are. They hit every open shot tonight. They attacked the baseline so well, found every open man and were dead on in their shooting. We battled the whole game though – I thought our effort was good tonight. When you come away with 20-plus offensive rebounds it tells you that your guys are really working hard. Now we just learn from our mistakes and move forward. We still have a lot of basketball to play."

"It seemed like they had an answer for every defensive stop we threw at them. And then with our guys getting in foul trouble, we had some personnel issues and that was discouraging. We work so hard to try and get in a position to stop the other team but tonight it seemed like the harder we worked, the easier it was for them unfortunately. We got a nice run with Brandon in there for the second half but more fouls caused problems for us. We’ll go back through film and look to find what we need to get this team going."

"I think it was a tale of where we had a couple runs we were proud of but then they would too. As a whole that’s just a very good team. They came out hot at the very beginning and we got behind but then we came back. Overall, though, we just allowed too many runs for them. To start the second half they went on another run and we just can’t have that. Credit to them for being a very good team and having great coaches."

"Florida State has a lot of good shooters so one thing we tried to key in on was to get up in their faces and not let them have open shots. They did a good job, though, of driving to the basket and then kicking it out and by then they had open shots. They executed their game plan so well tonight."
