Game Notes from BYU vs. Southeastern Oklahoma State
PROVO, Utah - Led by senior Brandon Davies, the BYU men's basketball team rolled over Southeastern Oklahoma State, 103-57, in an exhibition game Friday at the Marriott Center.
The 103-point BYU effort is just the second 100+ performance in an exhibition game by the Cougars in the last seven season.
"The first 10 minutes of that game seemed quite a bit different from the previous games we’ve played in the Marriott Center (due to the recent upgrades)," said BYU head coach Dave Rose. "By the end of the game it felt really good though. I’m excited for our guys, I’m excited for the season and look forward to a lot of hopefully successful nights here in the Marriott Center.”

Southeastern Oklahoma State capped off the half with back-to-back baskets to enter the break behind 50-25.
BYU started the second half quickly with Sharp and Haws hitting two driving baskets. The Cougars had a 6-0 run and an 11-0 run interrupted by a Storm basket midway through the second half. Davies got the team rolling before Carlino caught Zylstra from across the court for an easy three to go up 71-34.
Calvert and the Storm exchanged three pointers to move the score to 98-53 before Zylstra tipped in the ball in to reach the 100-point mark for the Cougars with 1:17 remaining. Delgado quickly added to the score with a three.
