APR recognition for a seventh-straight year
PROVO, Utah – For the seventh-straight year, BYU men’s basketball has received public recognition from the NCAA for earning an Academic Progress Rate (APR) score in the top 10 percent of all NCAA Division I men’s basketball programs.
The NCAA’s APR calculation includes eligibility, retention and graduation to provide a clear picture of the academic culture of each sport.
The Cougars are one of just eight men’s basketball programs to receive recognition for its APR scores for seven-straight seasons and the only school to reach the NCAA Tournament and receive public recognition in each of the last six seasons.
The following is a list of the eight NCAA Division I men’s basketball programs to receive public recognition from the NCAA for a top 10 percent APR score for the last six seasons.
