Davies Named WCC Player of the Week
BYU junior Brandon Davies is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week, averaging 21 points and 14 rebounds, while shooting 61.9 percent from the field. He posted two double-doubles in three games for the Cougars, including a 21-point, 22-rebound effort in BYU’s WCC victory over San Diego – BYU’s first 20-20 game in more than 35 years. In the conference opener at Saint Mary’s, Davies poured in a career-high 28-points on 11-of-18 shooting from the floor, while registering a career-high five steals.
