BYUtv Sports Special: 2011-12 Men's Basketball Preview

Cougar fans can get a first look at the BYU men's basketball team by watching the BYUtv Sports Special 2011-12 Men's Basketball Preview. The hour-long special will be hosted by Dave McCann and air on BYUtv for the first time on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. MST.

Along with taking a look at the 2011-12 squad, the show will review the 2010-11 season, allow fans to get to know some of the new players along with interviews from some of the returners.

The show features in-studio interviews with head coach Dave Rose, Noah Hartsock, Charles Abouo, Brock Zylstra and Stephen Rogers. Former Cougar Travis Hansen will give his thoughts on the upcoming season along with Greg Wrubell and Blaine Fowler.

Fans will also get to see clips from the West Coast Conference's media day, including coaches from around the WCC weighing in on the 2011-12 season and what to expect from the Cougars.

There will be an opportunity to win season tickets by answering a trivia question during the show.

BYU starts the regular season at Utah State on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. MT from the Spectrum in Logan, Utah. The game will be broadcast live on KCSG TV and online at ESPN3.com.

Following Thursday night's broadcasts, the show will also air again on the following dates and times (all times MST):
Friday, Nov. 11 at 1 a.m.
Saturday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 12 a.m.
