Santa Clara at BYU to Air Live on ESPNU

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference and ESPN have announced that ESPNU will televise the Santa Clara at BYU game on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 from Provo, Utah. The game will tip off shortly after 6 p.m. MST/5 p.m. PST.

Santa Clara went 5-0 in the postseason to win the Collegeinsider.com (CIT) Postseason Tournament in 2011. In its final season in the Mountain West Conference, BYU advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen.

Tuesday’s announcement marks the 10th WCC conference game to be listed on ESPNU’s extensive college basketball schedule for the upcoming season. In all, the ESPN networks will televise a minimum of 30 men’s basketball games involving West Coast Conference teams as part of the recent eight-year contract extension between ESPN and the WCC.
