Jimmer Fredette, the 10th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft and the newest member of the Sacramento Kings, is a candidate for the Best Male Collegiate Athlete at the 2011 ESPYs.

Fredette capped his BYU career by being named the National Player of the Year and leading the nation in scoring at 28.9 points per game. He is BYU’s all-time leading scorer and set single-season and single-game scoring records his senior year.
On June 23, Fredette was selected 10th in the NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks and traded in a three-team deal that night to the Sacramento Kings.
