BYU head coach Dave Rose

New Mexico head coach Steve Alford

“I thought a big key to the win was we did a good job understanding what we had to do. We beat them on the boards.”

“BYU is good on transitions, so we had to be good on transitions. We beat them at the three-point line, which was shocking. On defense, we did what we wanted to do and on offense we made shots.”

“Every time they made a run, we answered it. If they made a five-point run, we answered with a five-point run.”
