Cougars to Be Featured on ESPN, CBS
BYU basketball and senior guard Jimmer Fredette will be featured on ESPN College Gameday and CBS’s pregame show College Basketball Today this weekend.
The Cougars are currently ranked No. 8 in the AP Poll and No. 9 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. BYU is 21-2 overall and 7-1 in the Mountain West Conference, tied for first with No. 7/6 San Diego State.
Fredette — a candidate for national player of the year — currently leads the nation in scoring at 27.6 points per game. He has been named MWC player of the week six times this season.
ESPN College Gameday will air on ESPN on Saturday at 9 a.m. MT. College Basketball Today will air Sunday on CBS at 10:30 a.m. MT.
