Player Notes

-Jackson Emery tied a career high with 6 three pointers and finished with 22 points.

-After scoring only 3 points in the first 15 minutes, Jimmer Fredette went 4-for-5 from 3-point range to score 14 points in the last 5 minutes of the first half.

-Brandon Davies scored in double figures for the 10th time this season, finishing with 15 on 5-of-9 shooting from the field. He finished with a double-double, adding 10 rebounds to his 15 points.

-Jimmer Fredette scored 30+ points for the 4th time of the season and the 12th time of his career. He finished with a season-high 39 points on 12-of-25 shooting, including 7-of-13 from 3-point range.

-Emery scored 20+ for the 3rd time of the season and 7th time of his career.

-Emery and Fredette combined for 61 of BYU’s 89 points.

-The victory marks the Cougars’ first at the Thomas and Mack Center since 2005.

-For the 1st time in 3 games, The Cougars went with the starting lineup of Fredette, Jackson Emery, Kyle Collinsworth, Noah Hartsock and Brandon Davies.

-The victory gave the Cougars their first over a ranked opponent since defeating Louisville in 2007.
