Game Quotes

BYU Head Coach Dave Rose

-"It was a great game and I thought our guys really competed hard. Tonight was all about effort and desire to win from both teams, and our guys willed themselves to win."

-"You can't get mad at your guys when they're doing everything as hard as they can the right way and we were fortunate enough to make enough baskets to win the game."

-On Chris Collinsworth'a return from injury: "I thought Chris was really big for us tonight. He was really active and got to the foul line and made his free throws."

Jimmer Fredette

-“We knew that they were going to give a good effort. We knew they were going to come out and shoot the ball well and give us a tough game.”

-“I was just trying to be aggressive, trying to go out and play my game. I was able to get some shots off and try to slow their momentum.”

-“Obviously we want to play better and shoot the ball better, but sometimes that doesn’t happen and tonight we weren’t shooting the ball great, but we were still able to find a way to win.”
