Dick Vitale named BYU guard Jimmer Fredette his National Player of the Week in his Weekly Awards on ESPN.com. See all the awards below or visit ESPN.com.

TEAM OF THE WEEK:

Kentucky. The Wildcats scored a pair of big wins, beating Notre Dame and Indiana. John Calipari's team saw its two diaper dandies, Terrence Jones and Brandon Knight get into foul trouble against the Hoosiers. A strong finish led the 'Cats to the winner's circle.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:

Jimmer Fredette, BYU...In his homecoming in Glens Falls, New York, he had 26 points and five assists in a win over Vermont. Then he put up 33 points in a 22-point blowout of Arizona.

COACH OF THE WEEK:

Bruce Pearl, Tennessee. He led his Vols to an upset win over Pittsburgh in the SEC/Big East Invitational. Oh yeah, the game was at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh!

SHOCK OF THE WEEK:

Fordham and St. Bonaventure beating St. John's. Steve Lavin's team had a couple of disappointing losses. First came a Maalox masher at home against the Bonnies, losing by one. At Fordham, the Red Storm could not hold on to a 20-point lead, falling to Tom Pecora's improved Rams.

DIAPER DANDY OF THE WEEK:

Jared Sullinger, Ohio State. He had an Ohio State freshman record by scoring 40 points against IUPUI. The previous high for a diaper dandy was Michael Redd with 30. Sullinger added 17 in a win over Western Carolina Sunday.
