Postgame Quotes

BYU Head Coach Dave Rose

"We got a lot of transition baskets which really helped our shooting percentage. Our coaches did a terrific job with the preparation and the game plan and our players did a good job of executing it."

"Defensively you have to have a game plan and execute it and I thought our players did a good job of that tonight."

On Fredette:

“You keep putting him in situations where you aren’t sure how he is going to respond and he steps up. He played a great game.”

"Homecomings are difficult. There are so many emotions for players and you don't really know what's going to happen but he was good from start to finish."

BYU guard Jimmer Fredette

“I get nervous for every game, but for this one especially. Luckily we were able to come out here, defend, make shots and get a win.”
