Quotes

BYU Head Coach Dave Rose

“It’s amazing how a couple of points can really change your life. This was a really, really great weekend for us. When we came down here without Chris Collinsworth, we knew we were going to have a challenge and our post guys were really going to have to step up.”

“I was really thrilled for how the guys competed together as a group. The biggest thing we gained from this weekend is how to win together as a group. Finding the pieces of how this thing is going to come together is a big benefit of this weekend.”

On St. Mary’s:

“They really spread the floor well and have a skilled player in every position and their post guys are really aggressive.”

“After watching a couple of their games we thought a key to this game was to not let them get clean looks at the basket from the three-point line.”

“They caused us matchup problems. We switched a lot and tried to make it uncomfortable for them.”

Noah Hartsock

“It’s been an exciting week for us. We came in here and played two really good teams. We played tough and played with a lot of guts in two close games.”
