Fredette on his experience with the USA Select Team
“They selected me to be on the team will all these great players in the college game, some of the best players out there right now, so it’s just a great opportunity. I was very grateful to USA Basketball to be able to come out here and help our National Team to hopefully get better and get prepared for the World Championships.”
“When we got in there it was just amazing, all those great players (NBA players) were there on one court competing with each other trying to make the team. When they’re trying to make a team they play as hard as they can so you’re getting them at their best. It’s extremely high level. It’s some of the best basketball you can play in the world.”
“Today I was matched up against Derek Rose, Stephen Curry and Tyreke Evans. They’re great players. They’re very quick. They can shoot the ball and get into the lane and I’m just trying to learn as much as I possibly can from them and pick their brains a little bit to see what I can do to improve my game.”
