Post-game Quotes

BYU vs. BYU-Hawaii Nov. 5, 2010

Marriott Center Provo, Utah

BYU Head Coach Dave Rose

“I was pleased with the game. I thought it was a great test for our team. A couple of our guys who didn’t get off to a great start were able to recover. In the second half we were much more engaged and tried to challenge them. We’ve got a lot of things to work on, I’m glad we have a week before we play Fresno State.”

“There are a handful of guys that have played quite a few minutes to see who rises to the top. I am really proud of Brock and how he’s making good use of opportunities.”

“I think Chris is really active for a big guy. He’ll get his hands on the ball. He is always trying to get to the ball.”

“BYU-Hawaii was really physical with us and the defended the ball well.”

Charles Abouo

“We got off to a slow start and they came out with a lot of energy, pushing the tempo early. But defense got better as the game went on.”

“We paid more attention to details and got out to a lead.”

BYU-Hawaii Head Coach Ken Wagner

“It was a good experience for our players to come here to Provo and play against a good team. They were a great team to learn against and we appreciate the opportunity to come here and play.”

“We have a lot of new people on our team, so we are still working those things out, but we just turned the ball over too much tonight to come out with a win.”

“We hope that BYU has a great season.”
