Exhibition vs. Laval and Haunted Hoops
PROVO -- BYU men’s basketball opens exhibition play on Friday at 7 p.m. against Laval University in the Marriott Center.
From Quebec City, Quebec, in Canada, Laval is off to a 5-3 start to its season. The Rouge et Or (Red and Gold) are led by guard Jean-Franois Beaulieu, who is averaging 19.4 points and 4.3 rebounds while shooting .535 from the field and .486 from three. Laval’s other two top players are forward tienne Labrecque and guard Jrme Turcotte, who average 9.9 points and 14.7 points, respectively.

Preseason All-America guard Jimmer Fredette led the White past the Blue in the Cougar Tipoff on Wednesday with 26 points. He hit a three with three seconds remaining to send the game into overtime.
Haunted Hoops
Prior to Friday’s game, BYU athletics will host a Halloween party on the concourse level of the Marriott Center for students and families. Put on your costume and join the athletic department for games and trick or treating. Those wearing a costume will be admitted to the game for $1.

Why: Meet and greet BYU student-athletes, get candy and get ready for the basketball game
