Remember When... Bob Skousen Scored 47 Points vs. UCLA?
While the 1961-62 BYU men’s basketball team won’t be remembered for its record, one moment from early that season stands out in Cougar basketball history. After current Cougar Jimmer Fredette broke the scoring record with 49 vs. Arizona on Dec. 28, 2009, Daily Herald reporter Jason Franchuk caught up with Skousen, who reminisced about his playing days. CLICK HERE to read the article.
