PROVO -- Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook announced that BYU senior Jimmer Fredette has been named to its preseason All-America First Team. The Cougars are also ranked No. 22 in Blue Ribbon’s preseason top 25.

Fredette has received preseason honors, including first-team All-America recognition from Dick Vitale, Athlon Sports and Sporting News. Lindy’s and Sporting News have named him the nation’s top point guard heading into the 2010-11 season.
