PROVO -- BYU guard Jimmer Fredette has been named college basketball’s most explosive player by Rivals.com heading into the 2010-11 season.

Rivals.com named 10 players to the list with Fredette earning the top spot for his scoring average (22.1 – seventh in the nation in 2009-10), his range (.440 shooting from three last season) and his two 40 point games (BYU record 49 vs. Arizona and 45 vs. TCU).
