PROVO -- BYU athletics is encouraging fans to purchase tickets to the final three home games of the regular season as the Cougars contend for a four-consecutive Mountain West Conference championship.

BYU takes on Air Force on Saturday, Feb. 13, at 4 p.m. in the Marriott Center. After playing at Colorado State and Wyoming, the Cougars conclude the home schedule with San Diego State on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., and New Mexico on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. The team will honor seniors Chris Miles, Lamont Morgan, Jr., and Jonathan Tavernari prior to the New Mexico matchup.

During the 2009-10 season the average attendance is 12,773 with season highs against Utah (22,644) and Colorado State (20,155). The student section has been strong all season with highs of 5,549 against UNLV and 5,484 against Utah.

BYU is third in the conference in attendance behind UNLV and New Mexico. Big crowds in the final three home games could vault the Cougar crowd to first in the conference.

Come be a part of the atmosphere and help the Cougars clinch a fourth-consecutive MWC championship. See below what Jimmer Fredette had to say about the crowd after BYU defeated Utah 82-69.

“I was very happy that our fans came out to support us. They were out there camping out for four or five days. It’s great support. Hopefully it continues to happen like that. Hopefully we continue to get sellout crowds in all these conference games. They’re going to be tough and we’re going to need our fans.”

Fans can guarantee seats at the final three home games by purchasing tickets as soon as possible. See ticket prices and information to purchase tickets online below.
