BYU Head Coach Dave Rose

“I think that you have to figure out different ways to win depending on the way the game goes. We knew early we were going to have to score a lot of points. If we’re going to push the ball against a team with really talented offensive players, you’re going to have to make good on every possession.”

“What we tried to do in the first half was double team Babbitt and make the rest of the guys beat us. We wanted to take the ball out of his hands.”

“I thought Jackson in the second half for us defensively really, really gave us a lift. Our defense won this game for us. We got four or five steals we converted into easy baskets. They didn’t get those. They gave us those two extra baskets which turned out to be the difference.”
