Rose's Live Chat Transcript from Jimmy V Week
BYU men's basketball coach Dave Rose participated in a live chat on ESPN.com as part of Jimmy V Week on Dec. 3. ESPN promotes cancer awareness and raises funds for cancer research throughout Jimmy V Week.
Rose was diagnosed with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor during the summer of 2009. His recent cancer scans have come back normal and he continues to coach the Cougars — currently 5-1 on the year — and participate in the battle against cancer by volunteering with the Children with Cancer Christmas Foundation. Rose, his wife Cheryl and the BYU men's basketball program are in their 11th year working with the Foundation.
