LAS VEGAS – The HoopTV Las Vegas Invitational and HoopTV Las Vegas Classic in conjunction with IMG College, a division of IMG Worldwide, the tournaments’ exclusive third party sales representative, announced today a three-year partnership with VEGAS.com as the official travel partner for both tournaments.

The agreement, which begins in 2010 and runs through 2012, will include a presence at the HoopTV Las Vegas Invitational in November and the HoopTV Las Vegas Classic in December. In addition, VEGAS.com will be the exclusive travel partner for both holiday tournaments. Both the Invitational and Classic have two rounds on school campuses and the final two rounds in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena.

"We are excited to partner with these two college basketball events and welcome the players and fans to our city," said VEGAS.com Vice President of Marketing Bryan Allison. "Fans who travel to Las Vegas for the games now have a convenient way to book their entire experience – including travel, lodging and tickets – in a single transaction using our unique shopping-cart technology.”

"This partnership makes a great deal of sense for all parties," IMG-College Regional General Manager Dan Shell said. "VEGAS.com can help the fans of all 16 teams each year get to Las Vegas in a cost-effective, convenient manner, which in turn helps the branding and excitement around these two great pre-season tournaments. Chris Spencer, the tournament director, is the best in the business at getting great fields for these multi-team events, and we have to do everything we can in this environment to help the fans have an opportunity to take part in the Vegas experience.”

This year’s Invitational field includes Oklahoma State, Bradley, Illinois, and Utah, while the Classic is serving host to Nebraska, Nevada, Tulsa, and BYU. Future commitments include Kansas, Arizona, Indiana, North Carolina, and UNLV.
