Postgame Quotes

BYU Head Coach Dave Rose

“I think we accomplished a lot good things tonight. We were able to play a lot of different players and different lineups. All three point guards saw action and each brings a different style of play to the floor.”

“In the second half we played more comfortably but still with urgency. We were able to attack and we had assists on the majority of our second half baskets.”

“We still have a lot of evaluation left to do. We’ll watch Bradley and our lineup up may be determined by their personnel but I think we have eight or nine different players who could start.”

“Tonight we were able to play a lot of players and give them the opportunity to play a good amount of minutes.”

Central Washington Head Coach Greg Sparling

“Playing BYU was probably the best learning experience for our team. They were bigger and more aggressive. I think BYU is great in the transition and runs it better than most teams and that caught us off guard.”

“They made shots and we didn’t. It’s as simple as that. We also spent a lot of energy on defense, and so when it was time for offense we were a little drained.”

Jimmer Fredette and Jonathan Tavernari are both skilled players that really know and love the game. I am quite impressed with the quality of this BYU team and wish them luck in the future.”
