Brazil Routs Australia to Win Torneio Super Four Eletrobras

RIO DE -- Brazil defeated Australia 95-67 Saturday to claim the title at the Torneio Super Four Eletrobras.

BYU’s Jonathan Tavernari had another solid performance, hitting 3-of-5 from the field for six points to go with three rebounds and two assists.

Brazil Opens Torneio Super Four Eletrobras

RIO DE -- Playing on its home turf Brazil opened the Torneio Super Four Eletrobras with an impressive 100-63 victory over Uruguay.

BYU’s Jonathan Tavernari had a perfect night shooting the ball, hitting 3-of-3 from the field including 2-of-2 from downtown for eight points. He also added two assists.
