LAS -- The Detroit Pistons finished the 2009 NBA Summer League with a 92-86 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Pistons finish the summer with a 4-1 record.
Former Cougar Trent Plaisted had two rebounds in 10 minutes in the win. He played in all five games and stared three during the summer.

Detroit 96, New York 73
LAS -- The Detroit Pistons improved to 3-1 in the 2009 NBA Summer League with a 96-73 victory over New York. The Pistons opened with a 30-19 lead in the first quarter and held a 13-point lead at the half.
Former Cougar Trent Plaisted came off the bench and registered two points, four rebounds and a blocked shot. Rookies Austin Daye and DaJuan Summers had big games to lead Detroit. Daye had 27 points and 13 boards and Summers added 26 points and eight rebounds.
Detroit returns to the court for its final game on Thursday at 2 p.m. MT against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Golden State 97, Detroit 69
LAS -- The Detroit Pistons fell to 2-1 in the 2009 NBA Summer League with a 97-69 loss to Golden State.
Former Cougar Trent Plaisted had four points in the loss, hitting 1-of-2 from the field while knocking down both of his free throw attempts. Three Piston's scored in double figures with Jonas Jerebko leading the way with 16. Austin Daye had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Detroit returns to the court on Wednesday at 2 p.m. MT against the New York Knicks.
Detroit vs. Golden State
Detroit 91, Toronto 87
LAS -- The Detroit Pistons improved to 2-0 in the 2009 NBA Summer League with a 91-87 victory over the Toronto Raptors. Former Cougar Trent Plaisted posted four points, five rebounds and one block in 12 minutes of playing time.
Plaisted hit 2-of-6 from the field and had two offensive rebounds. Rookies Austin Daye and DaJuan Summers paced the Pistons with 19 points apiece. Detroit will return to action on Monday at 8 p.m. MT against the Golden State Warriors.

Detroit 86, Sacramento 77
LAS -- Trent Plaisted made his 2009 NBA Summer League debut on Friday, helping the Detroit Pistons to an 86-77 victory over the Sacramento Kings.
Plaisted started at center and saw 20 minutes of action, netting five points on 2-of-4 shooting from the field while hitting his lone free throw attempt. He added three boards, including two on the offensive end.
Piston’s rookie DaJuan Summers posted team highs of 24 points and seven rebounds.
