PROVO -- BYU is offering a special ticket promotion for Saturday's men's basketball home game against one of the Mountain West Conference's best teams, the Air Force Falcons. Fans can purchase tickets for chair or bench seats above the concourse level in the Marriott Center for just $1 for the 1 p.m. game.

"Our goal is to pack the Marriott Center by providing our fans the opportunity to come and watch a very good and exciting BYU basketball team," said BYU marketing director Tony Jewkes. "This is a very important conference game against an excellent Air Force team, and we want to have a large crowd to cheer on our team."

The Falcons are 17-3 overall and second in the league with a 5-2 MWC record. BYU is 12-6 overall and tied for fourth place in conference play at 4-3. The Cougars have won their last nine games in the Marriott Center and boast one of the league's top freshmen in Trent Plaisted, who leads all freshman in scoring at 13.1 points per game.

"We appreciate the support our fans have given us this season," said BYU head coach Dave Rose. "The fans are a big reason why the Marriott Center is such a great place to play, and we hope they will come out and enjoy a great game on Saturday."
