PROVO -- BYU plays its final exhibition game Friday when the Cougars host the University of Calgary at 7 p.m. in the Marriott Center.

The game is part of the season ticket packet and available to all BYU All-Sport Card holders. Single-game tickets can be purchased for $5, $10, or $15 at the Marriott Center Ticket Office by calling 422-BYU1 or 800-322-BYU1 or online at

The Calgary Dinos return three starters from last year's 25-11 club that finished as one of Canada's top four teams, advancing to the semifinals of the Canadian Interuniversity Sport Championship before a tough 69-67 loss to eventual 2004 CIS National Champion Carleton Ravens.

Calgary will provide BYU with its final exhibition test prior to the Cougars' regular-season opener against No. 3 North Carolina on Nov. 22 in the first round of the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational.

In BYU's first exhibition last Friday, senior swingman Mike Hall scored 16 points to lead BYU to an 85-70 victory over BYU-Hawaii. Guard Austin Ainge led the team in rebounds with nine while adding eight points and five assists. In all, 13 of 15 players on the active roster saw action, with 12 contributing to the Cougar scoring column.
