PROVO, Utah – BYU men’s basketball hits the hardwood for the first time this season on Wednesday, Oct. 26, with the Blue and White scrimmage. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Marriott Center. Admission is free.

BYU was picked to finish third in the West Coach Conference preseason poll, released earlier this month. Fousseyni Traore was one of two underclassmen picked for the All-WCC preseason team.

Traore is one of six returners from last year’s team that finished 24-11 including the 35th postseason appearance in program history. Fourth year head coach Mark Pope welcomes 12 newcomers to the roster including transfers Rudi Williams, Jaxson Robinson and Noah Waterman.

BYU hosts Ottawa (Ariz.) in an exhibition contest on Nov. 2 before its regular season officially begins on Monday, Nov. 7, against Idaho State at the Marriott Center.
