BYU continues California road trip on Saturday at Pepperdine

PROVO, Utah – BYU continues its California road trip on Saturday, Feb. 12, when the Cougars face Pepperdine in Malibu. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. MST.

Saturday’s contest will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. It will also be broadcast live on BYU Sports Network and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143/89.1 FM HD2 and KSL 102.7 FM/1160 AM.

BYU Notes (18-8, 6-5 West Coast Conference)

  • BYU got back into the win column on Thursday evening with a 83-82 overtime victory over Loyola Marymount. With the win, the Cougars ended a four-game losing streak, and they improved to 18-8 overall and 6-5 in West Coast Conference play.
  • Fousseyni Traore recorded his sixth double-double of the season on Thursday, tied for the third-most by a freshman in program history. He tied a career-high with 19 points and 12 rebounds to go along with four blocks.
  • Te’Jon Lucas returned to the starting lineup against LMU, finishing with 17 points and a season-high nine assists.

  • Jan Zidek is the leading scorer for the Waves as the junior forward is scoring 12.7 points per game, shooting 41.2 percent from the floor, 28.6 percent from the 3-point range and 86.5 percent from the free throw line.
