BYU begins three-game road trip on Thursday at Loyola Marymount
PROVO, Utah – BYU begins a three-game road trip on Thursday, Feb. 10, when the Cougars travel to the City of Angels to face Loyola Marymount. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. MST.
Thursday’s contest will be broadcast on ESPNU. It will also be broadcast live on BYU Sports Network and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143/89.1 FM HD2 and KSL 102.7 FM/1160 AM.
BYU Notes (17-8, 5-5 West Coast Conference)
- The Cougars used their seventh different starting lineup of the season in Saturday’s setback to No. 2 Gonzaga. Alex Barcello is the only Cougar who has started in all 25 games this season.
- Fousseyni Traore is four rebounds away from becoming the fifth freshman in program history to have 200 boards in a single season. With his seven rebounds on Saturday, Traore moved up to sixth on the freshman rebounding list, passing current teammate Caleb Lohner.
- BYU continues to lead the nation in total rebounds as the Cougars have 994, 15 more than Oral Roberts. The Cougars are one of 28 schools in NCAA Division I men’s basketball to have 900 or more rebounds this season.

Loyola Marymount Notes (9-12, 2-7 West Coast Conference)
- In Stan Johnson’s second season, Loyola Marymount is 9-12 overall and 2-7 in West Coast Conference play. The Lions have lost five straight, four of those coming against three of the top four teams in the league.
- Eli Scott does it all for the Lions, as he leads the team in scoring, rebounds and assists. The 6-foot-6 forward is averaging 16.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for a Lions team that is scoring 67.1 points per game.
- Joe Quintana ranks second on the team in scoring at 12.2 points per game. The redshirt senior is LMU’s top 3-point shooter as he is 58-of-142 from downtown.
