BYU looks to bounce back, faces Pacific Saturday night

PROVO, Utah – BYU returns to the court on Saturday, Jan. 29, when the Cougars travel to Stockton, Calif., to face Pacific at the Alex G. Spanos Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. MST.

Saturday’s contest will be broadcast on ESPNU. It will also be broadcast live on BYU Sports Network and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143/89.1 FM HD2 and KSL 102.7 FM/1160 AM.

BYU Notes (17-5, 5-2 West Coast Conference)

  • BYU dropped to 17-5 on the season and 5-2 in West Coast Conference play following a last-second 77-76 loss to Santa Clara on Thursday evening.
  • Fousseyni Traore finished Thursday’s contest with 10 points and 15 rebounds for his third consecutive double-double and fifth since being inserted into the starting lineup. In WCC play, the true freshman is averaging 10.7 points and 10.6 rebounds per game, shooting 64.6 percent from the field and 76.5 percent from the free throw line.
  • Alex Barcello scored a team-high 20 points on Thursday, marking the 18th time he has scored over 20 points as a Cougar.
