PROVO, Utah — Midnight Madness will return to the Marriott Center this year to help start up the 2021-22 season and specifically encourage BYU students to get excited for the new season ahead.

Doors will open at 10:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22. The event will begin at 11 p.m.

Midnight Madness is primarily intended as a student event.

Various activities will take place on the floor to help introduce the BYU men’s and women’s basketball teams to those in attendance. Fans are asked to wear black. There will be a variety of promotions with giveaways, including a limited amount of T-shirts given away. The BYU ROC will offer special promotions through their social media accounts. Food and drink will be available. DJ Ricky Barrera will be hyping up the crowd.
