BYU to face Saint Mary's in WCC Semifinals

No. 14/16 BYU men's basketball will play Saint Mary's in the semifinals of the University Credit Union West Coast Conference Basketball Tournament Monday at 8:30 p.m. PDT in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

As the No. 2 seed, the Cougars received a bye to the semifinals. The Gaels are the No. 3 seed and defeated No. 6 seed Saturday night in double overtime to advance to Monday's semifnal matchup.

BYU's game vs. Saint Mary's will be televised live on ESPN2. The radio broadcast will be available live on the BYU Sports Network, BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143/89.1 FM HD2 and KSL 102.7 FM/1160 AM.

BYU seniors Yoeli Childs, TJ Haws and Jake Toolson earned All-WCC First Team recognition and Toolson was named Newcomer of the Year. It marks the first time BYU has had three All-WCC First Team honorees since joining the league.
BYU coach Mark Pope has been selected as one of 10 coaches across eight different conferences in the running for the 2020 Werner Ladder Naismith Men’s Coach of the Year Award.
