Cougars to play former conference foe UNLV at Vivint Smart Home Arena

BYU Game Notes

PROVO, Utah – BYU will renew an old conference rivalry when the Cougars play UNLV at Vivint Smart Home Arena Saturday at 1 p.m. MST.

BYU's game at Utah will be televised live on BYUtv, and the BYUtv App. The game with also be broadcast live on the BYU Sports Network on BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143/89.1 FM HD2 and KSL 102.7 FM/1160 AM.

BYU Storylines

  • Senior forward Yoeli Childs made his 2019-20 season debut against Utah and got off to a hot start, scoring 29 points on 12 of 16 shooting from the field. He made his first five shots, including three 3-pointers, to score 13 of BYU’s first 20 points. Childs now has 34 career games with 20-plus points.
  • Senior guard Jake Toolson has made a 3-point field goal in every game this season, including three 3-pointers in each of the last three games. Over the last two games, Toolson has hit 16 of 25 from the field and 6 of 8 from 3-point range and is averaging 22.0 points per game.
