Midnight Madness Recap
BYU basketball celebrated the start of the 2019-20 season with Midnight Madness in the Marriott Center late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
The event included performances by the Cougarettes, Vocal Point, the BYU Dunk Team and the musician O/B/A. Both the men's and women's teams were introduced to the nearly 3,000 fans in attendance and participated in games with students. The Cheer Squad threw prizes to the fans throughout the night. BYU men's basketball plays an exhibition game on Nov. 1 against UT Tyler at 7 p.m. MT in the Marriott Center. The Cougars open the regular season on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. at home against Cal State Fullerton.
The BYU women's team plays exhibitions in the Marriott Center on Oct. 29 and Nov. 2 and opens the regular season on Nov. 9 at Washington State.
