Why did you choose BYU? I grew up a huge BYU fan, it’s close to home. It has an incredible environment and it just felt right.
When did you start playing basketball? As long as I can remember I’ve been playing basketball, but why, just because I loved it. I just loved the game. I looked up to Allen Iverson, but that was more when I was older. AI, that’s my guy.
What are your pregame rituals? I drink blue gatorade. That’s about it though. I did it my very first game in high school and played pretty well, and stuck with it ever since.
What was the first BYU sporting event you attended? I think it was a football game. My parents went to BYU and I was born while they were here.
What is your favorite sport besides basketball? Golf, or football. I played football in high school, quarterback. My favorite golfer is Phil Mickelson.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I would go to Corsica, in the south of France. I served my mission there and it was the best.
What is something most people don't know about you? I speak French.
What do you do when you're not playing basketball? Homework and nothing, playing more basketball.
What do you want to do for a career? I would like to go into the medical field. I love the way the body works and helping people.
What is your favorite thing about BYU so far? How religion is incorporated in the classes.
