Why did you choose BYU? There were a lot of reasons that I chose to come here, but the overall feel was just right.

When did you start playing basketball? I started playing basketball when I was really little. Probably started playing competitively when I was in fourth grade. I thought it was really fun and that’s why I chose it.

Who is one of your role models? My dad. He’s the best leader I know.

What are your pregame rituals? Not much besides getting shots up and saying a prayer.

What was the first BYU sporting event you attended? That’s a tough one. I’m sure it was a BYU football game though because growing up my brother, my dad and I would travel to one game a year. We would pick a cool spot they were playing somewhere across the country.

What is your favorite sport besides basketball? Probably football.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I think I would probably go to somewhere like Vietnam or Thailand. It just looks so beautiful and I love the food.

What is your favorite basketball memory? Probably winning at Gonzaga. It was one of my best memories back in my sophomore year.

What’s something unique about you? If they want to know something weird about me they should probably ask my wife.

What is one thing outside of basketball you look forward to? Sleep.

What is your favorite TV show? The Office for sure.

What do you want to do for a career? I want to get into coaching and athletic administration. Whichever one works out best.

What is your favorite thing about BYU? It’s just the overall feel. It’s been a really enjoyable experience academically and the guys I surround myself with on the team and just basketball.
