BYU returns home to host San Francisco in key WCC matchup
BYU basketball will host San Francisco Thursday in a key West Coast Conference matchup Thursday at 7 p.m. MST in the Marriott Center. BYU is 18-10 overall and 10-3 in league play and holds a one game lead in the loss column over San Francisco in the WCC standings. The Dons are 20-6 overall and 8-4 in the WCC.
Thursday's game will be televised live on BYUtv. The game with also be broadcast live on the BYU Sports Network on BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143/89.1 FM HD2 and KSL 102.7 FM/1160 AM.

- Junior guard TJ Haws was named the WCC Player of the Week after leading the Cougars to wins at San Diego and Loyola Marymount. Haws averaged 24.0 points, 7.5 assists and 1.5 steals and hit 19 of 20 from the free-throw line. In the win at San Diego, Haws scored a career-best 35 points.
- BYU will be looking to extend its current winning streak to six when it hosts San Francisco. The Cougars previously won five in a row in November. It marks the first time that BYU has posted two five-game win streaks in the same season since 2013-14.
- Zac Seljaas hit a career-best 4 of 4 from 3-point range in the Cougars’ 70-62 win at Loyola Marymount. The junior guard has hit 8 of his last 14 attempts from long range and has a 3 in all but four games this season.
