SALT LAKE CITY (August 21, 2018) – Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment officials announced today the schedule for the second edition of the Zions Bank Beehive Classic on Saturday, Dec. 8, at Vivint Smart Home Arena. Brigham Young University will play the University of Utah at noon followed by Utah State University against Weber State University at 2:30 p.m. (MT).

Public ticket sales begin Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. (MT) through each of the participating school’s athletic department ticket offices, Vivint Smart Home Arena box office and online at www.vivintarena.com. Ticket purchases provide entry for two games.

A portion of the proceeds from the inaugural Zions Bank Beehive Classic last year netted a $30,000 total contribution to the scholarship funds of the four participating universities.

“Vivint Smart Home Arena is excited to host these four great in-state schools and their fans in a community celebration of basketball,” said Jim Olson, president of Vivint Smart Home Arena, the 18,306-seat downtown Salt Lake City venue and home of the Utah Jazz. “The Zions Bank Beehive Classic is a unique opportunity to bring these teams together in one place for a college basketball showcase.”

BYU vs. Utah, Noon
Utah State vs. Weber State, 2:30 p.m.
