Childs returning for 2018-19 season
PROVO, Utah – After announcing on Tuesday that he will be returning to BYU for his junior season, forward Yoeli Childs discussed his decision with the media on Thursday in the Marriott Center Annex.

Childs declared for the NBA Draft in April, giving him the opportunity to work out with and receive feedback from NBA teams. In 2017-18, Childs averaged 17.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks while shooting 54.1 percent from the field. He earned a spot on the All-WCC First Team and received all-district honors from the USBWA and the NABC.
