Rose advances to second round of the Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge

PROVO, Utah – BYU basketball coach Dave Rose has advanced to the second round of the Infiniti Coaches’ Charity Challenge. He is competing to raise money for the BYU Simmons Center for Cancer Research.

The 24 remaining coaches are counting on their fan bases for votes to advance in the tournament-like competition. Fans can vote for Coach Rose and the Simmons Center three times each day by visiting www.ESPN.com/Infiniti and via posts on Twitter and Instagram.

The coaches receiving the most votes will advance to the next round every few weeks and the top vote-getters will eventually gain a spot in the finals. The winning coach will receive $100,000 toward his charity. Fans can begin voting today.

The second round of voting ends Feb. 11. The top 16 coaches (Feb. 12-Feb. 25) will advanced to the third round and the final round will include the top four coaches (Feb. 26-March 10).
