Cougars hit the road to face Pacific

BYU Game Notes

Coming off a dominant home win over Pepperdine, BYU basketball hits the road to take on Pacific in the Alex G. Spanos Center Saturday at 3 p.m. PST. Saturday's game will be televised live on CSN Bay Area, Spectrum SportsNet and ROOT Northwest and broadcast live on the Cougar IMG Sports Network, 102.7 FM/1160 AM and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143. A live video stream will also be available on TheW.tv.

BYU Storylines

  • BYU plays Pacific for the second time this season on Saturday. BYU won the first matchup 91-62 in Provo on Jan. 7. Eric Mika led the way for the Cougars in the first meeting against Pacific with 17 points and 10 rebounds while Elijah Bryant came off the bench to score a season-high 17 points.
  • Eric Mika has posted 12 double-doubles this season, including one in each of the last six games and seven of the last eight. His streak of six-consecutive double-doubles is tied for the fourth-longest streak of consecutive games with a double-double in BYU history. The record of 10 is held by Bruce Burton and Kresimir Cosic.
  • Nick Emery hit two 3-pointers against Pepperdine, giving him at least one 3 in 29-straight games, a new BYU record. The previous record of 28-straight games with a 3 was set by Jimmer Fredette in 2010-11.
