Three-game homestand begins with Idaho State Tuesday

BYU will be back in the Marriott Center Tuesday night at 7 p.m. MST against Idaho State for the Cougars' first of three-straight home games during the holiday break. Tuesday's game will be televised live on BYUtv and broadcast live on the Cougar IMG Sports Network, 102.7 FM/1160 AM and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143.

BYU Storylines

• BYU returns to Provo for a three-game homestand, beginning with Idaho State on Tuesday at 7 p.m. MST. The Cougars are 5-1 in the Marriott Center this season. At 165-18  in the Marriott Center since the 2005-06 season, BYU has won more than 90 percent of its home games during the Dave Rose era.
• Freshman Colby Leifson demonstrated his sharpshooting in the second half against Illinois, hitting two big 3-pointers with the second cutting BYU’s deifict to 69-68 with 1:59 remaining.
• Since being inserted into the starting lineup against Utah State, freshman Yoeli Childs has increased his production, averaging 8.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks while shooting 61.3 percent from the field. He has scored in doube figures and posted double figure rebounds twice in five games as a starter.
