Colorado Game Notes

With fall classes in the rearview mirror and finals just around the corner, BYU basketball will host Colorado of the Pac-12 Saturday in the Marriott Center at 8 p.m. MST.

Saturday's game will be televised live on ESPN2 and broadcast live on the Cougar IMG Sports Network, 102.7 FM/1160 AM and BYU Radio – Sirius XM 143.

BYU Storylines

  • Eric Mika has scored 20-plus points in each of the last four games, averaging 24.3 points on 57.9 percent shooting from the field. In the last two games, Mika has scored a career-best 29 points vs. USC and had 26 points and 10 rebounds against Weber State.
  • Yoeli Childs has played his best basketball since being inserted into the starting lineup against Utah State. Over the last three games he is averaging 8.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.0 block while shooting 57.9 percent from the field. He set a career-best 10 points against Weber State and had 12 boards against Utah State.
  • Colorado is BYU’s second Pac-12 opponent of the season. The Buffaloes are 7-2 on the year and have wins over two teams that were ranked the date of the game (No. 22 Texas and No. 13 Xavier).
